Philmont Gear and Souvenirs

The question has come up more than once about how much money should you bring to Philmont for certain items from their trading post.  To answer that question, lets look at some of the things most people get from Philmont and we can go from there.

First is belts and buckles 

Some more popular samples are below but there is more of a selection at the link above.

 

This is the traditional leather Philmont belt.

 

The Bronze Bull buckle is $30.oo

 

Two Tone Arrowhead is $20.oo 

 

Here is the traditional shirt.  We'll have our own crew shirt but there are several options available at this link. They range between $13. and $20 dollars, more for sweats and hoodies.

 

 

Philmont Nalgenes are $14. but there are unlabeled bottles for $8 according to the website.  They're about $12 here for the blank nalgenes.  They come in many colors but I don't know what will be available when we get there.  Here is the link to the water bottle selection page.

 So to sum up, if you want to get a leather belt, a buckle, a t-shirt, and a water bottle it's about $94 dollars all together.  If you don't think you'll need all those things when you get there or only plan on getting one or two things then you can order them from the Tooth of Time Traders website, which is what I've been linking to in this article.
